Indian Army NCC Recruitment 2013: 

Indian Army invites application from unmarried/married male and unmarried female and also from the Wards of Battle Casualties of Army Personnel, for grant of Short Service Commission in the Indian Army Indian citizen for the recruitment of 54 vacancies through NCC Special Entry Scheme 34th Course-Oct 2013

1. NCC Men: 50 posts
2. NCC Women: 04 posts

Age Limit:

Candidates age must be between 19 years and 25 years. Candidates should be born between 02-07-1988 and 01-07-1994.

Educational Qualification:

I.For NCC ‘C’ Certificate Holders:

Candidates must possess Degree of a recognized University or equivalent, Should have served for minimum two academic years in the senior Division/Wing of N.C.C.& Should have obtained minimum of ‘B’ Grade in ‘C’ Certificate Exam of NCC.

II. For Ward of Battle Casualties of Army Personnel:

Candidates must possess Degree of a recognized University or equivalent.

Selection Process:

Eligible candidates will be selected on the basis of screening of candidates on the basis of Physical Standards, Visual Standards and Physical Fitness Standards at OTA followed by Group Tests, Psychological Tests, Interview and Medical Examination.

Important Dates:

  • Last Date of Receipt of Application in Rtg Dte for Wards of battle casualties: 22-02-2013.
  • Last date for receipt of application at NCC Bn/Gp HQ: 28-02-2013.
  • Last date for receipt of application at Rtg Dte from Dte Gen NCC: 01-04-2013

Candidates may apply through prescribed application as provided in the notification to the nearest OC, NCC Unit from where NCC ‘C’ certificate has been issued. Those serving in Armed Forces should send Application in the Armed Forces duly counter- signed by Commanding Officer to the OC, NCC Unit from where NCC’ ‘C’ certificate has been issued and ) Applicants under category of Wards of Battle Casualties to send their applications direct to Dte Gen of Recruiting/ Rtg-6, NCC Entry, West Block-III, R.K. Puram, New Delhi-110066. Applications along with all educational and other necessary documents must reach on or before 28-02-2013.
